The Variegated Peace Lily can tolerate very low light situations in the home and is also one of the best air cleaning plants around, so it makes for a great houseplant. It can also tolerate bright shaded areas/ filtered light.
It is typically an easy grower and will actually let you know when it really needs water when the leaves appear to be droopy. It is currently growing in a pot with no drainage hole so that it can stay consistently moist when watered.
