Philodendron Bipennifolium is a unique type of Philodendron. This specimen is variegated and has appeared to revert. To encourage more variegation, it can be propagated. It is named due to the shape of its leaves, which are very similar to a horse head. It is a shade loving plant and makes a great indoor house plant.
Technically, it is a hemi-epiphyte, which means it is a soil-grown plant that climbs trees with its long stem and the assistance of aerial roots. Giving it support really helps the plant climb and continue to grow larger leaves.
It is currently in a well-draining potting mix made for aroids.
