The Peace Lily can tolerate very low light situations in the home and is also one of the best air cleaning plants around, so it makes for a great houseplant. It can also tolerate filtered light. It’s typically an easy keeper and will actually let you know when it really needs water when the leaves appear to be droopy. Be sure to let the first couple inches of soil dry out in-between waterings. And water thoroughly allowing the excess water to drain away from the pot.
